Training Event: Fun Fair/Taller (Workshop) Day

Volunteers: Come learn and put to use creative and effective strategies for working with kids and youth groups this summer.  In the morning, we will meet at the Dimond Branch Library (3565 Fruitvale Ave, Oakland, CA 94602).  Then in the afternoon we will we will walk up the street to Dimond Park (3860 Hanly Rd, Oakland, CA 94620) where we will put on a fun fair for kids.

Parents: Please bring younger siblings, cousins and other small children to play at our Fun Fair between 2 pm and 4 pm.  SEE FLIER.

Note that pick-up and drop-off locations are different.  Drop off at Dimond Branch Library.  Pick up at Dimond Park (just a half a block away from the Library).  Also note time change.

Saturday, April 26, 10:30 am to 5:30 pm. (10:30-12:30 at Dimond Branch Library, 12:30-5:30 at park)

PLEASE BRING:
-art supplies, face paints, finger paints, balls for sports, anything you have around the house that might be of use to us at the Fun Fair.
-your training journal
-red program guide
-cream colored handbook
-a pen
-a water bottle
-sunscreen (wear it: we will be outside for much of the day!)
-a bag lunch!
-YOUR COMPLETED SERVICE LEARNING PACKET
