PARENTS AND VOLS: You're invited to the most exciting Amigos event of the year--the Assignment Fiesta! Vols, come find out what country you're going to and what project you will be on!

When: Sunday, Feb. 24, 5-7:30 p.m. (Come at 4:45 if you're bringing food or supplies.)
Where: Head-Royce School, 4325 Lincoln Ave., Oakland (Please note: This is a change in location from the master calendar.)
Please park on Lincoln Ave. above the school to the east or in the school parking lot.

What to bring: checks from letter-writing, any unsold coffee and pecans, and food to share.

Here are potluck food assignments for each team:
Sunday Afternoon -- entrees
Sunday Evening -- appetizers
Monday -- desserts
Tuesday -- utensils, plates, and drinks

PARENTS ONLY: Please come to the East Bay Amigos Chapter Meeting to meet with parents of veteran volunteers who served in the same country (and, possibly, the very same project) that your volunteer has been assigned to. This is your chance to ask all your burning questions.

When: Tuesday, Feb. 26, 7:30-9:30 p.m.
Where: Mormon Stake Center, 4770 Lincoln Ave., Oakland.

Come to the best event of the Amigos year, the East Bay Assignment Fiesta, where volunteers, parents and families celebrate the volunteer's project assignment. It will be held at Head Royce School, 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM. (Please note: This is a change in location from what was printed on the master calendar.)

Vols, find out what country you are going to and what project you will be on!

Here are potluck food assignments for each team:
Sunday Afternoon -- entrees
Sunday Evening -- appetizers
Monday -- desserts
Tuesday -- utensils, plates, and drinks

If you are bringing food or supplies, please come no later than 4:45 PM. If you have any questions, please call Doug Condie at 510 652-7755.  Two parents from each team should come at 4:15 PM and help set up.  At the end it would be helpful if everybody would assist in cleanup, taking down the tables and chairs and setting the room back to its original configuration.

Please park on Lincoln Ave. above the school to the east or in the school parking lot.

Keep in mind that ALL the project choices on your Assignment Preference Forms are possibilities - the International Office does not rank them 1 to 5 when matching volunteers with projects, but rather leaves them all as possible options. No matter where you go, your experience will be what it is! So again, let's stay positive and open-minded.

Note: Please bring checks from your letter-writing campaign and any unsold coffee and pecans to the Fiesta.
