The mandatory Health and Safety Retreat for will be held March 17, from 10 AM to 5 PM at the Moraga LDS Church, 3776 Via Granada, Moraga.

PARTICIPANTS: If you are unable to attend our chapter’s health and safety retreat and instead will attend another Bay Area chapter retreat, be aware that some chapters have 2 sessions for health and safety. IMPORTANT: Advanced arrangements must be made with Training Director Dana Theircof, so please contact her ASAP to ensure that you can get a space at another retreat and you have all the information you need.

The list of immunizations required for 2018 Amigos participants has been posted on the chapter website It is located with other important health information about mosquito nets and bug bite prevention under “Summer Prep”. You must log in to see all this. 

As a convenience, lightweight “minimalist” first aid kits will be available for purchase at cost (less than $15) at the April training retreat and at later meetings. Medication instructions are included. These kits have been very popular in the past. 


There is a special parent health and safety session for you from 3 to 5 PM.
