East Bay Information Sessions
The first step in becoming an AMIGOS volunteer is to attend an information session with your parent/guardian.
You may attend any one of the following Information Sessions to learn more about becoming an AMIGOS volunteer in the summer of 2011:
Sunday Sep 26, 2010 - 2:30pm: Oakland Public Library, 125 14th St, Oakland 94612
Tues Sept 28, 2010 - 7:30pm: Las Lomas High School, 1460 South Main Street, Walnut Creek 94596
Sunday Oct 3, 2010 - 2:30pm: Kaiser Hospital Richmond (en espanol), 901 Nevin Ave, Richmond 94801
Wed Oct 6, 2010 - 7:30pm: Stanley Middle School, 3455 School St, Lafayette 94549
Thurs Oct 7, 2010 - 7:30pm: St. Peter’s Church, 6013 Lawton Ave, Oakland 94618
All are welcome! Meetings will be bilingual English/Spanish to accommodate Spanish-speaking families and to build and reinforce volunteers’ language skills.
