Become A Volunteer!
To be an AMIGOS Volunteer, you must:
- Be 16 years of age by September of the year of your summer service in Latin America
- Have completed 2 years of high school Spanish language (or equivalent) before your departure for Latin America
- Have completed your sophomore year of high school before your departure to Latin America
Every October, the East Bay Chapter of Amigos de las Americas recruits volunteers to participate in our year-long training program and prepare for 6-8 weeks of volunteering in Latin America during the summer.
