You can start your journey with AMIGOS today and spend your next summer in Latin America by becoming an Amigos volunteer.

Follow these steps to become an AMIGOS volunteer with the East Bay Chapter:

  2. Complete a Volunteer Application. (Applications available at info sessions)
  3. Attend a Family Interview. Family interviews will take place the weekend of October 16-17, 2010. Family Interview Sign-ups will be conducted at the Information Sessions.
  4. Meet the Following Requirements throughout the year before departure for Latin America:
  • Attend approximately one training meeting a month between November and your departure to Latin America (June or July).
  • Attend approximately one Chapter meeting a month with a parent/guardian between November and your departure to Latin America. Meetings will take place weekdays and some weekends at various locations in Contra Costa and Alameda counties
